The venue also offers a full kitchen, conference table, and music-listening station with a record player. It’s suitable for corporate professionals and creatives alike. Building History: 14 West was built in 1857 as a fashionable brownstone residence, where author Edith Wharton was born in 1862. The building was later adapted for commercial use. By the late 19th century, after renovations by architects such as Henry Hardenberg and George H. Billings, the building gained additional floors, and its facade was transformed. The building transitioned from a private home to a retail and office space, later housing Jazzmania Society in the 1970s and 1980s. We’re located across the street from the well-known Eataly Marketplace and just steps away from the historic Flatiron Building. *Any cancellations due to COVID-19 are non-refundable unless the city imposes indoor gathering restrictions. *We do not reschedule or accept cancellations for any dates or times already booked beyond 24 hours of their initial booking.
