## About the space
Create, rehearse, record and film inside **Studio 6A at Fount Studios**, a spacious 2,000-square-foot creative studio in Midtown Manhattan.
Located inside the former Hit Factory building, Studio 6A combines the warmth and character of a classic recording environment with the flexibility required for modern music, video, podcast and content production. The room features hardwood floors, layered rugs, architectural wood acoustic panels and a large open floor that can be configured around your project.
The studio accommodates productions and gatherings of up to **60 people**, depending on the room layout, equipment footprint and planned activity. ## A studio with character
Studio 6A is not a plain white rental room. Its hardwood flooring, large patterned rugs, warm wood acoustic treatment and recording-studio architecture create a finished visual environment before additional scenic elements are introduced.
The room works especially well for productions seeking a look that feels musical, creative, warm and established rather than clinical or temporary.
Guests may use the existing room character or bring in furniture, instruments, lighting, scenic pieces and production equipment to create a customized environment.
## Built for music
Studio 6A was designed around sound and musical collaboration. The acoustically treated room can support band rehearsals, songwriting, live sessions, performance capture and multitrack recording.
Optional music and recording equipment includes:

## Built for video and content
The size and visual character of Studio 6A make it a strong setting for music videos, interviews, performance films, podcasts, branded content and multi-camera productions.
The open floor provides room for cameras, lighting, crew, talent and equipment without losing the warmth of a finished environment. A portable 75-inch display and professional lighting equipment are available as optional add-ons.
Rentable lighting equipment includes select ARRI, Aputure, Amaran and LiteMat fixtures, along with C-stands, modifiers, fresnels and spotlight attachments.
