Periodicals

Located in Core City, Periodicals is a magazine shop and concept store. We are close to Archive by eugenie, Prince Cafe, Mother Loaf, Vesper Book, Lady of the House, Puma, Barda, and Matéria Gallery. We designed the space to cater to Detroit's blossoming arts, culture, and commerce communities. The 975-square-foot space features stainless steel and Dolce Vita marble counters, the centerpiece of Peridocals. Perfect for exhibitions, listening parties, pop-ups, private events, intimate dinners, and photo shoots. There is a bathroom and a small sink in the space. There's also storage space in the basement, which can be used for event preparation and food staging. We have six Sonos Era 300 speakers mounted in the ceiling and a Sonos Sub. The space is on the street level, has multiple entrances, and can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests for non seated events. For seated events, we can accommodate up to 50 people, depending on how you design the space. The chairs and the tables in the photos are available for rent through a third party vendor. We also have colorful lucite chairs, six foot tables and three cafe tables available for rent. Please inquire. Important: All bookings require an 8-hour minimum, $150 cleaning fee and event insurance, which cost about $125. The 8-hour minimum accounts for load in and load out.
