ABOUT STUDIO 1 We are excited to present Studio 1, nestled in the heart of Venice Beach. HISTORY & LEGACY Studio 1 is housed in a historic building that once sheltered gondolas when Venice had a canal flowing down Westminster Avenue. This unique space has been meticulously transformed into a premium recording environment while preserving its distinctive character. Previously serving as an artist loft for legendary figures like Guy Webster and Dennis Hopper, and later as a recording studio for electronic music powerhouse Nero, Studio 1 continues its creative legacy in one of LA's most vibrant neighborhoods. ACOUSTIC DESIGN Studio 1 features room-within-room construction with a double door entrance, ensuring optimal sound isolation. The acoustics have been professionally designed by Vicoustic, incorporating strategic bass traps, custom reflection point absorbers, and elegant wood diffusers on the back wall. Only hazard-free materials were used in construction (NO rock wool or glass insulation), creating a safe and comfortable environment for all users. TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT The technical setup includes a Steinberg UR-RT2 USB interface providing simple 2-in/2-out connectivity, complemented by a premium monitoring system featuring Yamaha HS5 70-watt 5-inch Powered Studio Monitors paired with an HS8S 150-watt 8-inch Powered Studio Subwoofer. For synthesizer enthusiasts, the studio offers an Arturia MiniBrute MK2 and Moog Mother 32. DIMENSIONS & FURNISHINGS The studio offers ~88 square feet (8.14 square meters) of creative space with 10 ft ceilings. This intimate area is thoughtfully appointed with two Herman Miller desk chairs and a stylish love seat from West Elm. The studio's aesthetic and lighting can be customized with linen sheers and blackout curtains, overhead lighting, and a professional ring light for content creation. ADDITIONAL AMENITIES Studio 1 clients have access to a common area with restroom and kitchenette facilities, making longer sessions comfortable and convenient. Within the studio, additional equipment includes microphone stands, patch cables, microphone cables, Legato Tripods and ring lights ideal for recording and content creation. The space features a Vitruvi essential oil diffuser and Molecule air purification system for a fresh, inspiring atmosphere.
