The Tasting Cellar is our atmospheric cellar space, hidden beneath our wine and whisky bistro on Edinburgh’s iconic Royal Mile. It offers a warm and intimate setting perfect for private dining, wine or whisky tastings, business meetings, and small events. Seating up to 12 guests , the space blends rustic charm with refined Scottish character. It features handcrafted oak tables, ambient candlelight, and a carefully curated drinks list of fine wines and rare single malt whiskies. Ideal for both corporate and social occasions, The Tasting Cellar can be hired with bespoke food and drink packages, including guided wine or whisky tastings led by our knowledgeable in-house team. Charcuterie boards, local cheeses, and seasonal small plates are available to complement your experience. Located just a short walk from Waverley Station, our cellar offers a unique and memorable venue for anyone looking to host a truly special event in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
All spaces in the venue undergo daily cleaning as well as enhanced weekly cleaning. Spaces are thoroughly cleaned between bookings.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
