About The Scatter Joy Project

Our thoughtfully designed storefront is a modern retail space with a creative twist — perfect for pop-ups, brand activations, workshops, intimate gatherings, and community events. Located in the heart of the Short North Arts District, it’s full of natural light, clean lines, and welcoming energy. The layout features a retail floor with movable shelving and product displays, a cozy lounge-style seating area, and a hidden pay-what-you-can coffee bar in the back that can be open upon request. We also have additional seating available that can be brought out to accommodate your setup, whether you're hosting a panel, pop-up class, or intimate screening. Need A/V? We’ve got you covered. Our full setup includes a projector, speakers, and microphones — ready for presentations, performances, or creative showcases. It’s a space built for connection — ideal for mission-driven brands, community organizers, and creatives who want their event to feel meaningful, modern, and beautifully intentional.

Health and Safety Measures

The space is thoroughly cleaned before each booking, including disinfecting high-touch surfaces, sweeping, and general tidying. We ask that guests leave the space in the condition they found it — removing trash, resetting furniture if moved, and cleaning up after any food or drink. Cleaning supplies and trash bins are available on-site to make this easy. If you need extra time for setup or cleanup, just let us know when booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
