Welcome to LakeHus, a serene, Scandinavian-inspired lakehouse tucked along the quiet shores of Lake Minnewashta—just 30 minutes from Minneapolis. This modern, design-forward retreat is ideal for photo and video shoots, brand content creation, intimate gatherings, wellness events, and offsite retreats. Thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to 14 guests, LakeHus features two spacious bedroom suites, two additional upstairs bedrooms, a cozy bunkroom, and a charming beachhouse right at the water’s edge. The home is full of amenities for both work and play—shuffleboard, poker, reading nooks, sundecks, chess, movies, golf, water sports, and gourmet cooking. Guests can enjoy peaceful sunrises from the east-facing deck, and the lake itself is known for its calm, laid-back vibe—perfect for waterskiing or simply relaxing. Unlike nearby Lake Minnetonka, Lake Minnewashta remains mostly undeveloped, offering a tranquil, natural backdrop. The property is also within walking distance (in winter) of Camp Tanadoona and the seasonal Sauna Camp. Whether you're hosting a strategy session or shooting a lifestyle campaign, LakeHus offers a unique balance of style, function, and natural beauty.

We have a professional cleaner who services the property between every guest stay to ensure the home is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and reset to our high standards. All surfaces are disinfected, linens are freshly laundered, and the space is carefully inspected to ensure everything is spotless and guest-ready.
Cancellation Policy
Standard 30 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
