Step into a serene, light-filled studio in the heart of DTLA. With a wall of east-facing windows, MCM-inspired furnishings, and lush greenery throughout, this space offers the perfect balance of modern minimalism and natural warmth. Located in a historic building in the heart DTLA, our space features original hardwood floors and tin-tile ceilings. Built-in bench seating runs along one wall, providing a natural hub for group conversation, classes, or downtime between takes. The entry area is anchored by a midcentury modern desk, Modernica seating, and warm wood tones, offering a cozy-yet-elevated backdrop. Movable furniture allows for reconfiguration to suit your project. It also features a frosted glass elevator shaft that offers diffused natural light and a striking centerpiece. The spacious main studio is designed to feel both functional and inspiring. At the center of the room stands a striking custom frame, offering endless versatility for creative projects, movement practices, or unique staging needs. A wall of east-facing windows flood the space with natural light throughout the day, highlighting the room’s lush tropical plants and creating a calm, organic atmosphere. The Japandi-inspired furnishings balance minimalism with warmth, blending clean midcentury lines with natural textures. This flexible, open layout makes the studio ideal for photography and video shoots. With greenery at every turn and a thoughtful design that fosters comfort and creativity, the space provides a vibrant yet calming backdrop for any project. Features: • Large east-facing windows with beautiful natural light throughout the day • Both sheers and opaque blinds to adjust to your preference of light level & privacy • Hue lights that allow for millions of possible color combinations • Japandi and MCM style décor with clean lines and warm wood tones • Abundant indoor plants for an organic, lived-in aesthetic • Neutral walls and flexible furniture arrangement Flexible space: - The Modernica couch and chair, in addition to built-in benches, 4 folding chairs, 2 camping chairs, bolsters and cushions, can be used to create a crew or talent holding space either in the entry area or southwest corner of the main studio space. - The desk and task chair in the entryway are available for a production admin work station. The kitchenette features a sink and medium-sized refrigerator with a freezer. We also have two water dispensers - one featuring sparkling water - and provide coffee and tea service. Bathrooms are secured with a passcode and located immediately to the right outside of the studio. They are shared with the entire floor. Bathrooms can be used as changing areas, but we encourage storing all personal effects within the studio.

Health and Safety Measures

Our space is equipped with three high-capacity Dyson air purifiers and one smaller air purifier in the entry. These supplement the HVAC system in the building.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
