Sonder is a working vinyl listening bar and Southeast Asian restaurant in Downtown Santa Ana, available for shoots on weekday and Saturday mornings before service, and all day Monday when we're closed. The room is 2,000 square feet, one open floor. Teal and orange leather booths, a wall of records, slatted wood panels, floral wallpaper, chandeliers, a full bar back, and a built-in DJ booth with turntables. Furniture moves. Several distinct corners, so you get three or four looks without changing location. Light: large front windows, lightly tinted. Dimmable interior lighting throughout. Natural light can't be blacked out. What you get: the full room, the patio, restrooms, Wi-Fi, street-level load-in, four standard outlets. Hi-fi sound system available for playback. Smoke machines OK. All ages. What you don't: kitchen access, outside food and drink, nudity. Hours: Monday all day and night. Tuesday through Saturday 8am to 3:30pm hard out, our kitchen comes in after. Parking: metered lot on the block, metered street, and a paid structure under five minutes on foot. Past bookings: web series, editorial stills, brand content, interviews. Diane or Lamson is on site for load-in and you'll have the room to yourselves.
