Where the legendary Elbo Room once stood, Bookclub is a hidden gem in the quiet Lakeview neighborhood. The main stage + bar in Bookclub is downstairs and features a high level production perfect for local bands, soloists, and DJ dance parties. This room has a bar, restrooms, and seating is available upon request. The capacity for the building is 250-300. All patrons enter through Bookclub's hard seltzer bar "Club Soda" on the ground floor. Here folks can mix and match over 30 flavors to build their own hard or soft seltzer; the options are limitless! We feature a line of local beers and cocktails in a can as well and our friendly bar staff is alway ready to help with free water. The ground level also houses our Digital Balcony. The Digital Balcony is a one of a kind show experience. A multi-camera view of the show is live-produced and broadcast to the wall-sized LED screen on the ground floor directly above the venue. Patrons can enjoy a moment away from the packed room and never miss a moment of the show. Bookclub began its story in the DIY music scene. Hosting events out of a small loft space, Bookclub gained popularity amongst up-and-coming artists, a lot of which were organizing events for the first time. Since evolving into the new space Bookclub has expanded its ability to be bring together a variety communities for fun, safe events.
