To ensure every guest walks into a spotless, fresh, and well-maintained venue, DC Event Space follows a detailed, professional cleaning process between each booking. Our cleaners use commercial-grade products and follow a structured checklist to reset the space to its highest standard.
1. General Reset & Surface Cleaning
Remove all trash from the event room, restroom, and kitchenette
Replace all trash liners
Wipe down all tables, counters, shelving, and hard surfaces
Sanitize high-touch points: door handles, light switches, faucets, locks, and keypads
Dust furniture, décor pieces, and visible surfaces
2. Floors & Entryway Maintenance
Sweep and vacuum all floors (including corners, under tables, and behind furniture)
Spot clean any spills, marks, or visible debris
Vacuum entryway and ensure the front door area is clean and welcoming
3. Furniture Reset & Room Layout
Return all tables and chairs to their standard layout unless a custom setup is pre-requested
Fold and store additional furniture neatly in the designated area
Ensure seating and event furniture are clean, sturdy, and damage-free
Check that the room is organized and clutter-free
4. Kitchenette Cleaning
Clean and sanitize countertops, shelves, and prep areas
Wipe inside and outside of microwave
Clean sink and polish fixtures
Remove all leftover food or beverages
Restock paper towels and basic kitchen supplies as needed
5. Restroom Cleaning
Clean and sanitize toilet, sink, mirror, and all fixtures
Restock toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap
Empty trash and install a fresh liner
Sweep/vacuum the floor and spot clean as needed
Ensure restroom smells clean and feels refreshed
6. Safety & Final Checks
Confirm all Blink cameras are unobstructed and functioning
Make sure thermostat is returned to default (65°F unless otherwise stated)
Check that all lights are off
Verify doors are locked and secured
Ensure the space is fully reset and photo-ready for the next guest
