Betty’s Barn at Springlake Farms is a farmstead compound comprising five auxiliary barns, two cottages, and a modern converted barn residence by famed local artist Betty Cooke. Derelict for much of the last decade of the artist’s long 100-year life, the property is undergoing a significant restoration that honors the design legacy of the site and the austere beauty of the American countryside. On its 10 acres a regenerative farming program is also actively being installed. The site will be made available for rentals, retreats, small farm-related events, with the singular goal of supporting continued preservation and farming operations.
