Podcast Studio Cleaning Process
To ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment, our studio follows a consistent cleaning and reset process after every session. Guests are provided this information for transparency and to understand how we maintain the space. A downloadable PDF of this checklist is also available for reference.
Goal: Keep the studio clean, neutral, and fully reset for the next client
When: After every session and at end-of-day final check
1️⃣ Basic Clean
Clear desks, tables, and surfaces of trash
Reset chairs and cameras to default positions (height, spacing, facing cameras/mics)
2️⃣ Desk, Furniture & Surfaces
Wipe desks and tables
Wipe down chairs and couches
Wipe control surfaces (mixer, Stream Deck, keyboard, mouse)
Wipe door handles (inside and outside)
Wipe light switches
3️⃣ Audio Gear (High-Touch / Critical)
Wipe down microphones and cameras (body and grille) with approved disinfectant
Wipe headphones (ear cups, headband, cable near jack) and re-hang neatly on hooks/stands
Clean camera lenses
Coil cables and ensure all mic/camera cables are fully plugged in and tidy
Format cameras and power cameras on/off as needed
4️⃣ Final Reset
Empty trash bins and replace liners
Set LED lights to default or neutral white
Reset blinds/curtains to default
Return props and decor to their default placement
Vacuum or sweep
5️⃣ Double Check
Stand at the studio entrance and visually inspect
Ensure the studio looks clean, neutral, and untouched
No visible cables on the floor
No trash, fingerprints, or clutter
Confirm the room is quiet and ready
Log any issues (broken cable, mic, etc.)
This process ensures the studio remains professional, safe, and camera-ready for every guest.
