About The Opalescent Studio
Welcome to The Opalescent Studio - a 1096 sq ft natural light photography studio in Papillion, Nebraska. Minutes from Omaha and Bellevue. Designed with photographers and creatives in mind, the space is warm, intentional, and quietly beautiful from the moment you walk in.
Floor to ceiling east and south-facing windows flood the studio with soft, directional light throughout the day. The space includes two 8x8 rolling walls, a queen bed with white bedding, a couch, continuous lighting with softbox, a growing collection of props, live plants, private bathroom, free wifi, and free parking. All included in your hourly rate.
Optional add-ons include: white seamless paper roll (+$10), spotlight ($15), 30 minute set-up/tear-down time ($45), and a pet fee ($50) for clients bringing furry family members. Available 6am-9pm, seven days a week.
Whether you're shooting newborns, portraits, headshots, boudoir, branding, or family sessions - this space was built to hold it all.

Health and Safety Measures
The Opalescent Studio is thoroughly cleaned between rental days, including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning the bathroom, and changing all linens. For back-to-back same-day rentals, the studio is maintained in clean condition throughout the day and receives a full reset and deep clean after the final booking of each day.
All renters are required to leave the studio in the condition they found it: furniture and props returned to their original places, personal belongings removed, and any messes cleaned up. A $50 cleaning fee applies to any rental where the space is left untidy, which helps us ensure every guest walks into a fresh, welcoming space.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
