A whole coffee shop to yourself! Dear Diary Coffee is a very cute and artsy coffee shop in East Austin. The environment is colorful and full of art and plants. Over 25 local artists sell their work in the coffee shop, so it's a great place to shop for gifts or just get inspired. There is a selection of art supplies available, and your guests can explore our community journal library. The shop is the perfect place for - Workshops and creative meetups - Happy Hours and networking - Birthday parties, baby showers, and other celebrations - Intimate concerts and performances - Filming coffee shop scenes - Ticketed events (you can charge admission for your advent and keep 100%) CATERING The bar area is off limits, but a barista will be on staff to serve refreshments and snacks. Dear Diary does not sell alcohol, but you may bring your own. Your guests may purchase menu items, you can open a tab, or we can quote catering packages to you. AMENITIES - Coffee bar with tea, soda, and other drinks - Vegan and gluten free menu options - Sweet and savory - Catering packages available - Unisex bathroom - Journal library - Television with Roku - 8 cafe tables, 1 coffee table, and 22 total seats - Power outlets and power strips throughout - Wifi - Printer You are welcome to stop by during business hours to scope out the space if you'd like. Our regular business hours are 7am - 2pm Monday through Thursday and 7am - 7pm Saturday and Sunday. FREE PUBLIC OPTION You can host public events for free during regular business hours. We can reserve a couple of cafe tables for your next vegan bake sale, art pop-up, or creative meetup. Health and Safety Measures

As a food business, we observe all city health guidelines and receive an A+ rating every year. Our baristas have obtained food handling permits. All surfaces are wiped down with sanitizer throughout the day, and the bathrooms are cleaned every shift. A barista will arrive at the shop 30 minutes prior to your event to make sure the space is clean and orderly, and they will stay after the event to thoroughly clean the shop and prepare it for the next business day.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
