This warm, residential-style space works well for filmed interviews, video podcasts, lifestyle photoshoots, social media content, small brand shoots, product-in-home content, and intimate creative sessions.
The space offers several usable looks within one booking, including a comfortable lounge area with black leather couches, a bar area with four stools, a dining table that seats four, a remodeled kitchen, and a queen bed/studio area. These different zones can be used for talking-head interviews, conversational podcast setups, casual lifestyle scenes, creator content, portraits, or small product shoots.
The layout is best suited for small crews and controlled productions. Ideal bookings include documentary interviews, YouTube or podcast-style conversations, branding sessions, headshots, lifestyle photography, UGC content, cooking or kitchen lifestyle scenes, and small team meetings. The space is not intended for parties or loud events.
Guests will have access to the main living/lounge area, bar seating, dining area, kitchen, bathroom with shower, and bedroom/studio area unless otherwise arranged in advance. The space includes seating for approximately 8 guests between the couches, dining table, and bar stools. Furniture can be lightly rearranged with approval and must be returned to its original placement before the end of the booking.
Sound - The neighborhood and house is generally really quiet and there has been documentary and narrative projects filmed here without issues. That being said, please note that this is a residential space rather than a soundproof recording studio. It can work well for video podcasts, interviews, etc but productions recording sensitive audio should come scout prior to the shoot to evaluate the space for their needs.
This is a great fit for small productions looking for a cozy, lived-in Seattle home environment with multiple natural backdrops in one location.
