A big, beautiful artist-run studio with industrial bones, warm wood, and a whole lot of personality. The space is made for gatherings that feel vibrant, creative, and genuinely social—think parties, performances, comedy shows, live music, workshops, figure drawing, dance classes, photo shoots, pop-ups, community dinners, markets, and whatever cool artsy thing you’re dreaming up.
The main room is spacious and flexible, with an open wooden floor that can be arranged for seated events, dancing, dining, making art, or a mix of all four. A stage anchors one end of the room for performances, presentations, DJs, or the guest of honor. There’s also an atmospheric outdoor patio area that works beautifully for mingling, dinner, or a little breathing room between activities.
Exposed brick, wooden beams, large windows, figure drawing, plants, string lights, colorful lighting, and art installations give The Loov it's heart and soul. It has plenty of character before you bring in a single decoration.
We especially love events that invite people to participate, talk to strangers, make something, dance badly, laugh loudly, or otherwise leave feeling more connected than when they arrived. Conveniently located steps from the Green Line and the community path, with on-site and street parking nearby.
