Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
At Shangri-La Sonoma, we take cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience extremely seriously. Prior to every booking, our team completes a full venue turnover and detailed cleaning process to ensure the barn and surrounding event spaces are fresh, sanitized, and ready for guests to enjoy comfortably and confidently.
Our cleaning protocol includes:
- Full sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of all interior event spaces
- Sanitization of high-touch surfaces including tables, counters, door handles, seating areas, and restrooms
- Thorough restroom cleaning and restocking of supplies prior to arrival
- Removal of all trash, recycling, and debris from previous events
- Inspection and cleaning of all tables, chairs, and shared-use furnishings
- Spot cleaning of windows, mirrors, and entry areas as needed
- Outdoor walkthroughs to remove litter and ensure grounds are guest-ready
- Final staging inspection to ensure the space is visually welcoming and event-ready
In addition to routine cleaning, we regularly inspect the venue for maintenance needs, safety concerns, and overall presentation standards to help create a polished and seamless experience for every guest.
Because Shangri-La Sonoma is located in a natural redwood environment, outdoor spaces are monitored and refreshed regularly throughout the week to maintain the beauty and atmosphere of the property while respecting the surrounding landscape.

Cancellation Policy
Standard 30 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
