This artist-run event space on upper 14th Street in northwest DC has lots of natural character, from the exposed brick wall, hand-built hardwood floors, and real(!) plants in the main event room to the moody lighting and antique wood furniture in the back bar area. The space works well for holiday parties, birthdays, microweddings, team offsites, and photo shoots.
The main event room is around 600 square feet, featuring adjustable lighting, a small modular stage, a ceiling-mounted projector and screen, and a high-quality sound system that can be set up. Basic 6-foot folding tables and padded folding chairs for around 50 guests are also available, so you can have a seated dinner or presentation, and then easily clear the floor for dancing. At the front of the room, a large three-sided window and glass door bring in lots of natural light (which helps our plants thrive). There is also a small outdoor patio out front where alcohol is allowed.
Behind the main room is a separate 400-square-foot back bar area with a small seating lounge. Guests can step back there for a drink and a conversation without crowding the main event. The bar is fully stocked, fully licensed, and staffed by our team. We have a standard menu, but can discuss custom and specialty drinks for any event. Outside alcohol is not permitted, but outside food and catering can be arranged.
There are no stairs to entry and no steps within the space. We have one restroom, which is ADA-accessible.
