When not rented, this studio is home to a cooking school and test kitchen. In addition to professional kitchen equipment, it is filled with beautiful tabletop items and a large cookbook collection. It is a wonderful space for quiet desk work, team building events--including cooking classes--breakfast and lunch meetings, networking events, cocktail hour, workshops and presentations, small conferences and more. The main space is a bright 600 square feet, with 14 foot ceilings and a bank of tall windows. It is well air-conditioned and/or heated. The three kitchen tables, on wheels, are easy to move. You may also use our 4, six-foot folding tables. The room can accommodate all tables, in various configurations, with a combined seating (stools and folding chairs) of up to 40 people. For your use, we have 32 seats on site--8 stools and 24 folding chairs, but can arrange rental for more. The entrance to the space is itself 200 square feet, perfect for displaying information or goods or setting up a coffee station or bar. We also have an adjacent studio, filled with sunlight, which may be rented for dining options, as breakout rooms, or craft services. We have catering services on site, or you may use outside caterers. There are two bathrooms in the hallway, just around the corner from the studio. A word about booking: Our studio is used for many purposes and our calendar is populated through multiple means. We regret that we cannot provide reliable, up to date availability, so we leave our calendar blank. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any specific dates you have in mind. The Sunset Park greenway at the waterfront is two blocks away. Excellent subway, bus, and car access. The building is quiet; home to amazing artists, collectors, and small manufacturers. It is an amazing space to gather together a group of people, brainstorm a new business strategy, or celebrate the close of an important project.
