HOT OFF THE PRESS! Please ask for my new guide "25 Ways I Use My Studio for Boudoir / Editorial / Lifestyle," which demonstrates over two dozen different settings you can create here. Welcome to my studio! I'm Cheshire Isaacs, a top-rated Bay Area photographer specializing in headshots/lifestyle portraits, boudoir, food, and performance. My beautiful storefront studio has a ton of diffuse natural light in the main room and is perfect for all kinds of portraits from headshots to boudoir (see sample images). The main room is also large enough (14' wide by 20' deep) for traditional-style studio shoots from portraits to apparel, with an extra-high ceiling (12.5'). In addition to the main room, other shooting areas include: - upstairs loft with a variety of surfaces to shoot against (150 sq ft) - spiral staircase with multiple creative ways to light your subject - cozy dressing room - small kitchenette RECOMMENDED: bring lighting with you to make the most of these additional shooting spaces The studio can easily be used as-is, but there are also some hidden tricks to vastly expand what you can do there: - The sofa becomes a bed for boudoir sessions, with two different headboards or create a "resort style" look (ask me) - Items like Venetian blinds, curtains and more can be brought out for stylized shots - Utilize my tall ladder to get dramatic shots from above - Bring out the industrial blower for windblown looks - Lighting recommendations, including provided string lights, to make the most of the loft - Even during bright daytime, with studio light you can make it feel like night in the main room - And more -- you can see possibilities in the sample images here There is also dedicated space for makeup and hair with special makeup lighting and a makeup chair. The studio is located in the Ivy Hill neighborhood of Oakland, a few blocks from Lake Merritt, downtown, and freeways, with very easy and safe street parking nearby. Ivy Hill still has an unpretentious neighborhood vibe, with a couple of great indie cafes within a block of the studio, a small park with playground across the street, and restaurants and larger conveniences such as Walgreens and Lucky within easy walking distance. The studio is also available for small offsite meetings or retreats. It has free wi-fi as well as a small kitchenette. Available For: - Film/Video Shoot - Photo Shoots - Commercials - Interviews - Product Shoots - Content Creation - Social Media - Youtube Filming - Tik Tok Videos - Blogging - Movies
