Urban Wine Bar in West Oakland's upcoming Prescott Area

Our spot has been used as a setting for music videos and dramatic film scenes, as well as live theater. Upon request, we can send you a link to short videos and behind-the-scenes set photos, giving you more insight into the ambiance, lighting, production capabilities and limitations. This space operates as a licensed Wine Bar at times, or as an event space at other times. Open and roomy, yet private and cozy, people often comment that it feels like an intimate lounge in someone's private residence. The Prescott area of Oakland is fast becoming a hip trendy place for urban professionals looking to be close to San Francisco, but far from the fog, the traffic, the crowds and the prices. Close to West Oakland BART, Jack London Square, the Bay Bridge, Bay Street and Downtown Oakland. Since we do have a Wine license, guests may want to structure their event around a wine-related theme. The host is a well-known Winemaker and Wine Expert, which may offer unique aspects and possibilities involving wine tasting seminars, themed wine selections or wine education. But, of course, there is no obligation to have wine play any part in the event. It just happens to be here, should you wish to include it. We have a 55 inch widescreen television and a 150" projector screen. If you have something in particular you want to show, please get us the audio/video material in advance so we can test it. On Friday and Saturday nights, we are usually open for our regular customers, but if you really want to reserve the space on one of those evenings, we should be able to work out something. Number of guests: here are some guidelines - Mostly Standing (company mixer, launch party, casual birthday party): 45 Standing and Sitting (small appetizer plates, holiday cocktail party, anniversary party) 30-35 Everyone Sitting (sit-down formal dinner, seated company presentation, paint and sip party) 20-25 We have hosted a sitting/standing Holiday Dinner for 50 people.
