Our experienced events team is available to help you customize your experience. Classroom used for team retreats, meetings, presentations and workshops. It is equipped with dual built in projectors, 2 screens, audio, and white boards. WiFi is password-free throughout the museum. Parking is complimentary. GUEST EXPECTATIONS *Arrival: Host will be available to greet you and show you to the room at the start of your reservation time. *A/V Setup: Basic A/V connection or other questions during your visit. Windows Laptops connect over Bluetooth, or please be sure to bring adapters. *Restrooms: Available immediately outside of the room. TEAM-BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES Facilitated activities can be added to your rental pending staff availability, including science-based workshops and guided redwoods hikes. CONVENIENCE Hiking trails are easily accessible for mid-day breaks yet we are only 10 minutes away from downtown Oakland. Plus, the cost of your rental goes to supporting our education programs for the Oakland community! CATERING Guests may bring their own refreshments or meals may be pre-ordered from our list of experienced preferred caterers. You are also welcome to schedule food drop-offs, but no heating, open flame, or cooking equipment is permitted in the room unless supervised by a licensed caterer. Host may accept the order on your behalf and bring back to the room if desired, but does not check the order and cannot take responsibility for any discrepancies.
