Film & Photo Location in Stunning Redmond Forest with Climb-In Theater

Located just ten minutes east of downtown Redmond and nestled among thirty tranquil acres of beautiful forest and a nature reserve pond, the Emerald Forest provides a stunning backdrop for a one-of-a-kind photo or film shoot. The Emerald Forest is home to the infamous Emerald Forest Theater, built by Pete Nelson in 2018 and featured on Treehouse Masters. Access to the forest is via an easy ten-minute walk on a flat forest trail or by zipline. There is room at the beginning of the trail for a maximum of ten vehicles. Beyond that, there is a park-and-ride very close by, which makes carpooling and/or shuttling attendees very convenient. There is an 800' zipline from the "house side" over to the forest. The launching point is about 300' from the nearest parking spot by our home. There is also an 800' return zipline back to the same location. All equipment and supplies can be sent over the zipline if needed at a modest additional charge. Ask us for more details when booking. For the three-week filming of the Treehouse Masters episode, there was an on-site production crew of about ten people and hundreds of pounds of equipment.
