The Runway Lounge

This beautiful mid-century modern home was built in 1958 on Yucca Valley’s only private airstrip. This home was designed with luxury and leisure in mind. Here you’ll spend time lounging poolside cocktail in hand, watching small private/vintage planes take off from our observation deck, chilling in our Moroccan lounge, or simply taking in the breathtaking views of the scenic Mojavi Desert and starry night skies. From the sunrise in the east to the sunset in the west. We know you’re coming for all the natural beauty Joshua Tree has to offer, but why not take advantage of your private airstrip? All of the rooms in our home are beautifully themed to allow you to feel like you are visiting other countries of origin. Hop on your private plane and be transported to Peru where you’ll stay in our master bedroom and enjoy the comforts of a luxurious CA king bed with fine linens, or relax after your long flight in our ensuite soaking tub. Or catch the redeye over to our guest bedroom where your African safari awaits! If poolside is more your vibe, jet on over to Tulum and stay in our private cabana where you’ll have direct access to our pool and gorgeous views of the Mojave desert mountains. Or if lounging in luxury sounds like your type of getaway, take the evening flight to our lounge; where you’ll feel like you’ve been transported straight to a Moroccan tea house in Marrakesh, surrounded by exotic silks and beautiful handmade rugs from the Berber tribes. Our flights and luxury vacation packages are all inclusive and provide expansive, luxury indoor/outdoor spaces, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grill, fireplace and complimentary Public Goods toiletries. The Runway Lounge is a 10 minute drive to downtown Joshua Tree, an 11 minute drive to Pappy and Harriet's, and a 25 minute drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Abundant shopping and restaurants are conveniently nearby however Fly-Inn's sweeping runway views and location still retain a deep connection to the surrounding desert and all its natural beauty.
