This space can be rented for creative events, photoshoots, music videos and performances. **It is not a Wedding Venue** We promote the independent makers, collectors, and artists of Central New York and foster creative collaborations, as well as provide the most unique underground shopping experience available in the heART of downtown Syracuse. With an emphasis on showcasing homegrown, handmade and uniquely Salt City businesses, We are THE destination of downtown Syracuse, NY. At the centerpiece of the Mercantile is a high ceiling industrial event venue surrounded by independent shops and services. The six modern lit architectural columns at the center of the space make for an epic scene. New custom WIFI app controlled lighting add incredible customization capabilities. EVENT TYPES ALLOWED: Film screenings, Floating art exhibitions, Guest speakers, meetings, workshops, intimate performances, artisan retail pop-ups and photo/video shoots work well in this modular space. EVENT TYPES NOT ALLOWED: Parties, Weddings, Birthdays, Bridal/baby showers. Freight elevators for load-in/out, WIFI, custom lighting.
