Welcome to Bechdel Project Headquarters! Bechdel Project is a feminist non-profit located on the top floor of a 1930s potato chip factory now operating as artists’ lofts in the heart of Greenpoint's TV & Film studios. When we’re not busy dismantling the patriarchy, we love to host fellow creatives in our space. We’ve been proud to provide location for large productions like Apple TV, CBS, MTV & Republic Records as well as for smaller indie crews and students. Whatever size your project, we are excited to hear about it and meet you! You can learn more about us by visiting: www.bechdelproject.org and see a selection of VIDEOS SHOT IN OUR SPACE HERE: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8dIbp8UAroTqvOXL2-FJDYMSMyln8oku&si=veU5sgybFEw-ScDx THE SPACES (located outside of all HOT ZONES): The studio is 800 Square feet of blank space featuring raw and industrial loft elements such as: 12' ceilings with wood beams, exposed/white washed brick walls, and ample natural light.
