Victorian House Museum in Historic West Atlanta

This is the historic home of author, journalist, and folklorist Joel Chandler Harris. We've been welcoming guests to our house museum and venue since 1913. Our Queen Anne Victorian home is located on 2. 5 acres in the West End neighborhood of Atlanta. In our gardens we have a natural grass amphitheater — complete with a rustic stage (circa 1929) — that can accommodate large events, including weddings and concerts, up to 800 guests. Our front porch is open for smaller events such as showers, parties, and receptions for up to 75 family members and friends. Our indoor parlor, hallway, and dining room can be utilized for intimate events of 40-50 guests. We Have also hosted numerous photo and film shoots over the years, from music videos to feature films. The staff at this space looks forward to showing you around and creating a package to fit your needs.
