The Farmhouse at Hunters Ridge is a charming hidden treasure in Howell, MI. Whether a private event, retreat, film shoot, photoshoot or other activity we provide a beautiful setting inside and out. Built in 1874 and situated at the entrance of the Links at Hunter's Ridge Golf Course you'll be immersed in historic charm & serenity inside and out. Nostalgia abounds with a bright open floorplan and 4 bedrooms sleeping 12 people. Outdoor fun awaits on the expansive, private grounds offering scenic beauty & nature overlooking the stunning Links at Hunters Ridge Jerry Matthews-designed golf course. We have hosted corporate retreats for 12 and events up to 75 utilizing this amazing space offering a blend of country, comfort and nature. Our guests are always wowed by the vintage charm and historic details featured throughout the property. It is reminiscent of by-gone summer cottages always providing good vibes and enduring memories. Outside you will find multiple sitting areas including a large open deck with a gas grill and dining table, covered side porch, secret garden & patio, and a large outdoor firepit area surrounded by expansive open grounds perfect for outdoor games. Inside you'll enjoy modern conveniences including a large entertaining area featuring fully-reclining, theater-style seating for 6 people, a large-screen TV and game table with seating for 6 people. All beds have high-quality mattresses and bedding and are either King, Queen or XL Twin size. Located directly off the main entertaining area is a clean and updated kitchen featuring another game, eating or conversation area with additional seating for four. The house is turnkey for overnight stays and the backyard is an open palette for tented events. We are dog friendly with prior approval and are closely aligned with the Links at Hunters Ridge Golf Course where we can tap into their resources to further customize your event/activity with golf, golf carts, access to a historic log-cabin clubhouse, full-service liquor and more. While The Farmhouse of Hunter's Ridge is located in a rural country setting you are a close 15-minute drive to the charming restaurants and shops in the downtown Howell, a beach and boat launch, premier outlet mall and many fun antique and specialty stores. There is an abundance of outdoor recreation areas nearby for biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking and more. Seasonally you will find amazing farmer's markets, orchards, cider mills, festivals, sunflower fields and other interesting u-pick farms and more.
