We are a sound and music recording studio in Berlin, Kreuzberg. The studio has been around since 2004. It is located on the 3rd floor of a (typical clinker brick) factory building. The whole house now consists almost exclusively of 'music'. We share the floor (approx. 470 square meters in total) with other producers, musicians, songwriters, etc. Our area is about 120 square meters, consisting of 3 rooms + the entire common area with about another 80-100 square meters (kitchen, 'hangout-space', hallway etc.. The 'style' is roughly based on the 70s. Rather warm, earthy colors, a lot of vintage technology, a lot of 'gimmicks';-) The recording rooms are often 'in action' due to the ongoing productions, full of gear and instruments, but they can also be emptied at any time. So far it has always made total sense to use the area (the rooms) / the ambience here for shootings, events, film and video production etc., also because there is a good infrastructure: in the middle of Kreuzberg (near Görlitzer Park / train station ), countless clubs / bars / restaurants in the area, factory with driveways, courtyard, entrances and exits, parking and loading facilities, elevator, kitchen, lounge, toilets, daylight.
