This historic bar used to be a destination for bikers, and has been recently restored to its original Western, dive-bar charm. The rustic wood textures, warm tones, dear and buck head taxidermy, antique accents, leather barstool chairs, and fully-stocked bar display make a unique and welcoming space for a drink. It is both a trip back in time and a modern-day tribute to the California-West era. Our iconic property was originally built in 1952 as the community hub for the valley of Cuyama, at a time when New Cuyama was a booming oil town. More than 60 years later, Cuyama Buckhorn has transformed into a sophisticated boutique resort boasting historic mid-century meets Western vibes and luxurious modern amenities, nestled in the picturesque Hidden Valley of Enchantment.
