T H E F I R E H O U S E : Built in 1904 in Maywood, IL, just 20 mins west of Chicago, the firehouse is a historical landmark filled with so much rich history. Converted into a residential building in the late 1980's, it now serves as a fully renovated creative hub for the community. The creative studio has the capability to be used in a myriad of ways from: production studio, photography studio, meetings, workshops, and more! I am a firm believer that wedding days should come with a photographer that takes stress off your plate rather than adding to it, that family and portrait sessions should be fun - not stressful, and that newborn sessions should be beautiful and safe! I promise you that you will only here me say “cheese” during your family’s session if your kids just asked me what my favorite food is. You also won’t see me get frustrated or impatient with your newborn who may not want to immediately settle for me. That’s so normal, and completely okay. If anything, it’s to be expected! As a mom, I understand that kids (and babies) need to have the space to be themselves in order to get the best shot.
