Welcome to The Monarch! This 1916 home is the pride of the street. Featuring luxury design, look and feel in every room. When you first arrive you won't know where to look first. Perfect for photo shoots, small cocktail parties, small weddings, family reunions etc. Please ask questions prior to booking. The Monarch will greet you with vibrant antiques as well as stunning interior design that is contemporary and modern. The Monarch has three bedrooms with three ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom has two queen beds and is behind a secret door!! That's right, you'll have to find your way into the secret room. Or scan the QR code in the living room for a hint. The Monarch features a chef's kitchen with GE Cafe Matte Black appliances, a Parlor with Dining table that converts to a Poker/game table for 8, a Secret Door with a large bedroom suite behind it, large living room with a mid-century modern couch to sit 12, all 3 bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, and outdoor spaces including front porch rocking chairs and fenced in side yard with fire pit. Additionally, you'll have access to the Pavilion on the property with Farm Table that seats 16. We have 3 other short term rentals on the property and one more across the street. The Monarch is the largest and the grandest of them all! The property is large and has enough parking for four vehicles dedicated to The Monarch. The Axis Suite and The Blackbuck Suite sit behind The Monarch and feature 2 bedrooms/1bath each with 2 parking spots per side. Additionally we have the Blue Heron Cottage across the street that features 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, full kitchen, fenced in yard with Grill, fire pit, ping-pong and corn hole area. It is common to see a herd of deer on the property. They lived here first, so we are letting them stay. We have also seen (almost nightly) raccoon, fox, neighborhood cats.. So, please be aware of your surroundings when you go outside in the dark. These critters are more scared of you than you are of them. The will scurry off in a hurry. This section of Kerrville is North of the Guadalupe River and just 7/10th of a mile from "downtown". We often walk or jog downtown from the property and run on the Kerrville Urban River Trail or grab a coffee and pastry at Pax Coffee & Goods. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Please respect the neighbors who live there 24/7. We love our community and want to make sure we have great relationships with our neighbors.
