Inspiring, Creative, Collaborative Space in a Sun Filled Historic Storefront

Welcome! We are happy to invite you into our sunny historic creative space in beautiful Temescal, in the heart of Oakland California. Located on a tree lined street across from a lively schoolyard, our creative office is a converted corner store with large windows and beautiful historic details. Filled with appealing art, books, plants, and sturdy & comfortable furniture, we want you to feel at home while you work, meet, study, collaborate, create, or dream. The space is set up with two primary gathering areas; a huddle space with a video conference capable TV, and a collaborative workspace with a large table and whiteboard. Behind the bookshelf is a generous kitchenette and an ADA accessible bathroom. We envision that possible uses for the space can include: off-site meetings, collaborative work sessions, seminars, small-scale events, pop-up brand experiences, photo shoots, filming commercial exteriors… We are open to your ideas! Space can be cleared upon request. With the table cleared out the space can accommodate groups of up to a dozen people for presentations or talks. Hosts will be on site during rental periods and available if there are any needs or issues. Handoff of the space will be in person at the beginning and end of the rental. If intending for an alternate use of the space, hosts are not responsible for acquiring permits. Amenities include; security system, broadband Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning, video conference system, bluetooth speaker, coat hooks, high quality glasses & dishware, knives & cutting boards, mini fridge, & microwave. The space is available Monday thru Saturday from 8am to 8pm, with a minimum schedule of 4 continuous hours. This is a residential area, please be respectful of the community and neighborhood.
