A 1,500 sq ft open floor in the heart of downtown Oakland, with a full wall of steel-framed windows, double-height ceilings and enough room to rearrange the whole layout twice in a day. The building's original storefront lettering still runs across the upper glass and reads backwards from the inside, which makes a better backdrop for a group photo than any banner you could rent.
The room comes set up for working: projector, screen, whiteboard, tables, chairs, WiFi, printer and coffee, with a separate breakout area when a group needs to split up. Blackout drapes run the length of the window wall, so you can kill the daylight for a presentation and bring it straight back for the session after.
Behind the floor there's a prep kitchen with two commercial refrigerators, stainless prep tables and a sink, plus a mobile bar on casters. That's enough to run a catered lunch and an evening reception without moving anyone to a second venue. If you'd rather not coordinate it, we can connect you with caterers, rental companies and event planners we work with regularly.
Street-level entrance with no stairs, restrooms on site, wheelchair accessible, and a short walk from the 12th Street BART station. Free and metered street parking in the surrounding blocks with a paid lot nearby.
