This home is lovingly known by local historians as both the Kernohan and Kleiner homes. Fully renovated in 2022, this home features new furnishings and award-winning paint colors alongside lovingly restored original hardware, fixtures, vintage artwork, and special touches throughout; giving this magnificent home the moody vibe of the prohibition era. The Kernohan Residence has been used for branding photography, film sets, large meeting/retreat space, small event dinners, etc. The space Located in Downtown Nampa, you will have walking convenience to many Restaurants, Bars, Coffee Shops, Grocery Store, Shopping, Nampa Library, and the Canyon County Historical Society & Train Depot Museum. Minutes from Golf Courses and the Nampa Airport Warhawk Air Museum. A short 7 miles from Lake Lowell where you can enjoy Boating, Fishing, and Parks. Approximately 13 miles from the local Wine Country. Downtown Boise is only 20 miles east where you’ll find indoor and outdoor activities such as River Floating, College Football, Ice Hockey, Nightlife, and much more! The Kernohan Residence is very spacious offering over 3,500 square feet of living space on three levels. Entry to the home is operated on a convenient keyless entry with self-check-in. Reliable Wifi mesh guest network throughout the home is provided for everyone to stay connected. On the Main Level, you’ll find an enclosed Sun Porch with seating for two to enjoy those morning cups of coffee or afternoon lemonade. The Living Room provides comfortable seating accommodations for 8-10 with two Chesterfield leather sofas and two wing-back chairs along with a Smart TV for your streaming entertainment. The Dining Room hosts a grand dinner table with seating up to 12 guests. The Kitchen has been updated with that vintage look and offers all new appliances including an extra large refrigerator and double oven. The Primary Bedroom is your private retreat, complete with a queen-sized bed, a sitting area, and a bathroom ensuite. Make your way up the stairway to the Second Level which includes 1 bathroom with laundry, 1 Full bedroom, 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom, and 1 Queen bedroom with a bonus kids bedroom that provides a trundle bed with 2 twins and an Office desk setup. ***The Basement is currently unavailable for guest usage*** The Backyard is a spacious fully fenced outdoor space beautifully landscaped with mature trees providing lots of shade over the grassy yard. A propane BBQ grill is also provided. In the evenings, you and your guests can unwind and reconnect under the grapevine-draped pergola. PARKING Street parking is permitted along the sidewalk adjacent to the home’s property to accommodate 4 vehicles and/or a Boat. Please do not utilize street parking on the opposite side of the street or extend beyond the home’s property line. NOTES ***Guests have full access to all living spaces on the Main Floor and Second Floor. Guests are NOT permitted to use the basement or the garage at this time. ***To host a gathering of more than 12 people, guests will need to make prior arrangements with the host, with a possible additional fee. Should you host more people than the occupancy permitted without permission, you will incur a fine and/or be asked to vacate the property immediately. ***Neighbors: This rental home is in a quiet neighborhood so we ask for your assistance in respecting our friendly neighbors by not hosting parties of any sort and keeping music indoors and noise quiet after 10 pm each night. This helps our neighbors stay enthusiastic about our vacation rental services. ***Landscaping maintenance for the front and back yard is a weekly occurrence at this property in the spring, summer, and fall seasons, so don’t be alarmed if they stop by.
