The space has installed cameras a lighting equipment to assist with all aspects of filming or photography. The studio is in a warehouse, giving the space an industrial aesthetic. In addition to the warehouse being connected to the office building of The Atlanta Voice Newspaper, the space holds historical relevance to the city of Atlanta and the black press.
