Modern House with Art Pavilion

We think our space works best for product or fashion photoshoots, and film shoots. The house interior has concrete floors and concrete block walls which offer a unique aesthetic and neutral backdrop. We focused our design on the main space which has a living and dining room. This space is the main focus of the photos posted of our house. Furniture can be moved around as needed. The dining table and chairs are great, but the couch is a bit worn after 7 years of kids and dogs, so that wouldn't be a good focus. The kitchen could be part of a photo shoot but we would like the bedrooms to be off limits. The art pavilion was designed to be a space that exemplified the owner's belief that light and materiality are key to creating an architectural experience. The pavilion is made of rough-sawn wood boards that filter the sunlight into a linear pattern of light and a rough stone wall. The exterior of the pavilion is stained red with a historic technique used with traditional barns. We use the pavilion as a place to eat, but the space is a great backdrop for photo and film shoots. The property is 6 acres with a large natural field which also might be a good setting for a photo or film. The photos we are posting we all taken in June-July 2024 so they are up to date. The only exception is the drone image of the property which was taken before the pavilion was constructed.
