NOT IDEAL FOR RECORDING SOUND (please see note in description). Cap Gun Studios is a large warehouse-style photography rental studio located at 1219 Union Ave. #2W, Kansas City, Missouri’s West Bottoms. Our space is on the second floor and we have 2,500 square feet of space available for hourly rental. The studio includes several shooting areas with different types of lighting and backgrounds, giving photographers, videographers, and other creative professionals the flexibility to create multiple unique environments in one studio space. NOTE: The sosce is not ideal for recording sound. There is a great deal of construction going on across the street from the studio space right now. Also surrounding businesses and trains nearby make recording sound difficult. If your video production does not require rolling sound, you should be fine. Sunday during the day is probably the only time you could realistically roll sound in the space. We recommend ordering from The Ship (Tuesday - Sat) which is located just downstairs. Accessibility: The studio is located on the second floor of the building in suite 2W and is only accessible via stairs. We do not have an elevator. If your party includes individuals with mobility issues that would require elevator access, we will not be able to accommodate you.
