Event Space Disinfecting Process 1. Prepare the Area • Ensure all personal items, decorations, and trash are removed before disinfecting. • Open windows or doors to ventilate the space while disinfecting. 2. Use Proper Disinfectants • Use EPA-approved disinfectants or appropriate cleaning solutions effective against viruses and bacteria. Ensure you wear gloves and, if needed, a mask during the process. 3. Disinfect High-Touch Surfaces • Focus on high-contact areas such as door handles, light switches, tabletops, chairs, counters, and the glass garage door handle. • Use disinfectant wipes or spray directly onto the surface and allow proper dwell time (as per product instructions) for the disinfectant to work effectively. 4. Wine Cellar and Kitchen Area • Wipe down the sink, dishwasher handle, fridge and freezer doors, and countertops with disinfectant. • Ensure any appliances that were used are cleaned and disinfected, including buttons and handles. 5. Tables and Chairs • Disinfect all farm tables and chairs, paying special attention to the backs and arms of chairs where people frequently touch. 6. Floors • After sweeping and mopping, use a disinfectant solution for the floor. Mop thoroughly, especially around high-traffic areas, such as entrances and the kitchen area. 7. Patio Area • Disinfect all surfaces, including outdoor furniture, railings, and door handles. • If any high-touch items like heaters or light switches are present on the patio, disinfect them as well. 8. Restrooms (if applicable) • Disinfect all surfaces, including sinks, faucets, toilet handles, and doors. • Refill soap dispensers and ensure the space is sanitized and ready for the next use. 9. Trash Disposal • After all trash is collected, disinfect the trash can handles and surrounding area. • Safely remove gloves and any disposable cleaning materials, and wash your hands thoroughly after disposing of trash. 10. Final Inspection
