Modern versatile dance and film studio

We are a creative arts space located in the vibrant digital campus of Here East in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - East London, formerly the Broadcast Centre for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Local transport includes; Hackney Wick, Stratford and Stratford International (from which you can get on the free Here East Shuttle bus that takes you direct to the Studios) The Studio is opened from Monday to Sunday, 10:00am – 18:00pm daily, with extended hours available on a case-by-case basis allowing us to be flexible in our approach with a range of hires. The Studios are fully accessible and step free across the building. Our three state-of-the-art dance studios, including two of the largest in London, Gallery and breakout spaces (The Albers Room, The Obsidian Terrace) are available for hire for a range of purposes including dance and theatre rehearsals, workshops, classes, filming and photography location, product launches, meetings, work spaces, conferences and other creative projects, with a dedicated Events Manager to guide you through the journey from conception to execution. We also offer both Artistic Development and Not-For-Profit rates All three studios feature sprung floors, full range high quality sound systems, high-speed Wi-Fi, wired data connections and variable air heating and cooling. Portable ballet barres, variable floor surfaces, tables and chairs and as additional sound and audio visual equipment are available on request. Studio 3 is black out-able as the remaining areas can be blacked out as part of your hire which we can help your organise. We have a large loading bay open Mon-Fri 7am - 7pm and outside of these times upon request. Our Studio 3 also features our Smart Studio technology, comprising of 5 remote cameras and giving you a 360o opportunity to record or Stream content from the studios via our editing suite featuring a Panasonic RP60 Remote Camera Controller (AW-RP60 | Panasonic Connect), Atem Vision mixer and Skarhoj Panel.
