The Douglas House Location

The Douglas House is a commercial film facility designed for your location needs. Family owned for 43 years, we strive to make your production shoots easier. A restored white clapboard farmhouse, only 35 minutes from midtown Manhattan, a single daily fee (12 hrs.) covers the use of the entire house, its contents, and the surrounding grounds. Douglas House is situated in Rockland County, New York, on 8.5 acres of green forest and pastures. The location includes the main house at the north end of a gently sloping front yard surrounded by large trees, a landscaped in-ground pool, and a patio area to the rear. There is also a weathered stable, gazebo, and a barn (the latter for exterior shooting only). Our kitchen is completely modular with three different cupboard looks and a moveable island.
