Valley View 1888 farm guesthouse and retreat, located midway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland, is just minutes from the University of Mount Union and less than a half hour from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. The property offers a peaceful rural getaway perfect for weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions, garden parties, bridal and baby showers, and other private group events. With both indoor and outdoor gathering areas, we have spaces to fit your needs in all seasons. The south side of the house features a beautiful garden with flowers and walkways perfect for a wedding ceremony. A brick patio lines the east/front side of the house. The great lawn is an expanse located off the north side of the house with a deck, shaded area and a large open lawn perfect for your next garden party, ceremony or cocktail hour. For a more informal and relaxed setting, the pavilion by the lake/pond is a perfect option for a reception, family reunion or variety of other private parties. Perhaps the most stunning feature of the farmhouse, itself, is the all glass Victorian sunroom which can also serve as an indoor location for a ceremony or corporate breakout room. This room carries in glorious views of the valley, pasture and barn, bathing the house in sparkling light and is fully air conditioned and heated. There are sliding windows to open the room to the fresh country air. The main dining room/conference room is located off the kitchen with a large custom made table that seats 14 people. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, butcher block island and custom cabinetry fully stocked with dishes and flatware for your cooking and dining needs. The main sitting room is located just off the sunroom, conference room and game room entrance. This room features an open concept with a large sofa and flatscreen TV and a separate seating area around the fireplace. The game room is also available for informal break activities, for example, during corporate retreats. For nonprofit organizations, we offer a 15% discount.
