CONBODY's fitness studio is a dynamic 1700 sq. ft. space that embodies resilience and transformation in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The entrance, marked by an imposing prison bar door, sets the tone for what lies within—a rigorous workout regimen inspired by the exacting conditions of prison life. The studio's design is minimalist and functional, mirroring the environment in which its founder, Coss Marte, originally developed his fitness program. The large, open workout area is equipped to handle a variety of bodyweight exercises that challenge and build both physical and mental strength. For convenience and comfort, the studio includes two showers and two bathrooms, ensuring that members can easily transition from their intense workout sessions to their daily activities. The thoughtful layout and facilities support a smooth flow of members throughout the day, catering to busy New Yorkers looking for an effective and efficient fitness solution. Daily Deep Cleaning: Each day, before opening and after closing, our staff conducts a thorough cleaning of all surfaces, equipment, and common areas. This includes disinfecting floors, workout mats, cell bars, and all high-touch surfaces such as door handles and lockers. Post-Class Sanitation: After every class, our team sanitizes all equipment used during the session. We use EPA-registered disinfectants proven effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and viruses. Air Quality Management: The studio is equipped with advanced HVAC systems with HEPA filters to continuously circulate and purify the air, reducing the presence of airborne contaminants. Hand Hygiene: Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the studio. We encourage all members and staff to use them upon entering and before leaving the studio, as well as before and after using any equipment. Shower and Bathroom Upkeep: Our showers and bathrooms are cleaned multiple times throughout the day. Disinfectant sprays and wipes are available for members to use for additional peace of mind. Member Responsibilities: We ask our members to wipe down equipment after each use with the provided disinfectant wipes. Towels are laundered after a single use to ensure cleanliness. Staff Training: All staff members are trained in proper sanitation practices and use of personal protective equipment to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. Feedback and Monitoring: We regularly assess our cleaning protocols and welcome member feedback to improve our processes. Our goal is to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
