Action House Napa is downtown Napa's dedicated video podcast studio. Sony Cinema Line cameras, human editing by a North Bay-based professional, and original music composed in-house. The only full-service video podcast facility in the Rail Arts District. Operated by Phillip Smith, a Stanford JSK Fellow, former Google News Initiative program director, and executive coach to media creators with more than 500 hours of one-on-one coaching delivered.
The space is perfect for a 2-3 person video podcast, or for recording course content, interviews, or marketing material.
The space is completely configurable to client's needs, including:
- 100% light control (studio is entirely dark with no windows)
- Professional video lighting (3 Amaran key lights, several modifiers and practical lights)
- A 9' seamless background system (green screen, white, black, or grey)
- A 20' walnut slat wall background for wide shots
- A 12' matt black wall for dramatic shots
- 10' roll up door in case you need to bring in large set design elements
- Small bathroom on-site with mirrors for checking your look
- Mini fridge, microwave, and espresso machine
