The garden has a top lawn (surrounded by deep flower borders) which becomes a grass tennis court over the Summer. A wooden pergola sits on one terrace close-by and has a wonderful covering of white wisteria in May. This is a lovely eating spot, overlooking the whole garden and particularly the tennis court. Further down the garden, which has trees on both sides, is the kitchen garden full of vegetables and then a small orchard area, covered in Spring blossom. This area has clouds of cow parsley in the early Summer. This then leads further down to a large pond with a Persicaria border on one side and water lilies (from August to the Autumn). A large Weeping Willow offers a lovely arbour for garden furniture on the water's edge. Finally there is a very relaxed, bohemian-vibe sort of area just beyond the pond, before you get to a stream, that has grass paths mown throughout and is gorgeous in early Summer when there's cow parsley everywhere. The garden offers itself well for photo or video shoots, particularly of garden furniture or soft furnishings. It is very traditional and the top terrace would work well for tablescapes and/or food shoots. The garden also lends itself to fashion shoots in early Summer with a back drop of cow parsley. There is plenty of space for catering equipment and there are electrical points in outbuildings.
