Why The Perch?
Cinematic Light:
Large west-facing picture windows flood the home with warm afternoon light while framing uninterrupted treetop views that feel worlds away from downtown Toronto. Throughout the day, the home offers multiple lighting looks with expansive windows that provide beautiful natural illumination while still allowing ample room for larger lighting setups when required.
Elevated Design:
Every room has been intentionally designed to feel layered, timeless and cinematic. Herringbone hardwood floors, custom millwork, vintage heirlooms and contemporary furnishings create interiors that feel elevated without feeling overdesigned.
A rich palette of moss greens, chocolate browns, warm neutrals and dusty rose photographs beautifully throughout every season. Architectural salvage pieces, including a monumental church bell wheel, an early-1900s dining table and artwork by James Harvey, the artist behind Andy Warhol's famed Brillo Box, provide authentic visual character rarely found in residential rental locations.
Production Logistics:
Every production is different. The Perch has been thoughtfully equipped to support the practical realities of commercial, television and editorial shoots, allowing crews to spend less time solving logistical challenges and more time creating great work.
