The Hidden Library is an Art Deco–inspired speakeasy-style meeting and event room tucked behind the shelves of our independent bookshop. This unique space seats 8–10 people and is furnished with two couches, two velvet armchairs, two lounge chairs, and a table with two seats, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere for gatherings. The room works best for workshops, small meetings, brainstorming sessions, book clubs, interviews, workshops, or photo and video shoots. Food is permitted, and coffee and baked goods can be ordered from our in-house café during operating hours for an additional fee. Features include a beverage cooler, bookshelf accents, window A/C unit, and baseboard heat. While not soundproof, the room is closed off with a hidden door behind bookshelves for added privacy. Parking is available in our lot as well as on the street. Rentals are available during business hours, with select after-hours options at special rates. Private events may also extend into the bookstore — please inquire for details. If the event is book-themed, special discounts will be extended to all book purchases. Access from the parking lot includes three steps down into the commercial hallway space, and there is one step to reach the restroom area. The entrance is located through a shared commercial hallway. An LED TV on a rolling stand is available for an additional fee as well as AV support if needed.
