The Kester Homestead is a beautiful Victorian estate situated on 10 bucolic acres with 7 bedrooms, common areas, a pool, large barn, walking trails and woodlands. The homestead is just 7 miles from the charming Skaneateles Lake, 20 minutes to downtown Syracuse, and on the cusp of the Finger Lakes with many local breweries & wineries within a few minute drive! This is a special retreat for family and friends wanting a big home to stay together. We also host weddings & other gatherings. The space There are 7 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large dining room, kitchen, family room, parlor, den, sunroom and outdoor pergola with a pool, bonfire pit, BBQ grill, garden and chicken coop. We host guests within the house for overnight rental up to our guest limit. We have a large barn and woodlands cathedral for weddings, parties, reunions, retreats and events, for an additional fee. Please inquire if you'd like to book a wedding, party or event with us! Guest access You will have access to the house, backyard with pool, chicken coop, BBQ grill and bonfire pit as well as our walking trails on our property during your stay. The barn and event spaces are separate rentals and are booked in advance for an additional fee. There will NOT be a wedding or event happening during your stay, we ensure privacy but ask Airbnb guests not to enter the barns or event space. Other things to note The Kester Homestead is a charming, rural property - yet close to many amenities. We are just 7 miles from Skaneateles Lake and 20 minutes to downtown Syracuse or 20 minutes to downtown Auburn. There are Finger Lakes Winery and Brewery trails not too far away and plenty of things to do nearby all year long!
