The studio has a proto-industrial style defined by the suspended steel service ducting, concrete floors and bright white walls. It is roughly square and around 1100sqft and measures H3.8/3.3m x W8m x L12m A large fixed south-facing window means the studio gets excellent sunlight throughout the day. It also benefits from good strip lighting. There is an effective ceiling-mounted heating/cooling unit. A sink with a hot water tap, housing a small tea-making area, alongside WCs, are positioned just outside the studio. Two flights of wide stairs lead up to the first floor and the studio which is accessed via a wide landing and a +1m wide corridor. Access via lift is also available.
